Forensic Files (1996)

Episode Overview

A drive-by shooting results in one man dead and another critically injured. While cell phone records and shell casings lead to a potential suspect, investigators struggle to connect him to the scene of the crime. However, a forensic geologist’s examination of soil samples reveals a breakthrough: comparing the dirt from the crime scene with that found in the suspect's car shows a match, demonstrating that even soil can provide crucial evidence.
