Byker Grove (1989)

Episode Overview

After Cher secures the position of youth leader, Ben remains steadfast in his desire to take on the role. Meanwhile, Regina is rallying a group to protest the council’s development plans. She convinces Bill to join her in a symbolic act of protest by tying themselves to a tree, ensuring they'll be there when the work is set to begin in the morning. As the night unfolds, the twins spend time together, while Adam and Leanne share a drink that leads to unexpected temptation. Anjali and Luke also enjoy a moment together. Ultimately, Regina’s efforts may be unnecessary when Jamie discovers protected bats in the forest, halting the council’s development plans.
