No No Sleep (2015)

Plot

Under the frozen glow of a winter night, a train slices through Tokyo’s restless hum, carrying a lone Buddhist monk on an unspoken pilgrimage. As the city pulses with neon and shadow, he drifts through its sleepless corridors, pausing at a capsule hotel’s steamy bathhouse. There, amid the hiss of water and quiet steam, a fleeting exchange with a stranger lingers—a brush of presence, a whispered connection—before the night folds him back into its endless, dreaming motion.
