**Vlado Müller**

Born Vladislav Müller in Bratislava on March 19, 1936, and passing away in the same city on June 20, 1996, Vlado Müller was a distinguished Slovak actor and the father of singer Richard Müller.

He completed his professional theater training at the State Conservatory in Bratislava in 1954. His early career included engagements at the Regional Theater in Nitra (1954–1956 and 1956–1966) and as a military actor at the Army Theater in Martin (1956–1958). From 1966 to 1990, he was a member of the New Stage ensemble in Bratislava. After 1990, he pursued business ventures as the owner of a day bar and restaurant.

On stage, Müller crafted dozens of memorable characters, equally skilled in dramatic and comedic roles. From the early 1960s onward, he also made significant contributions to Czech and Slovak film, television, radio, and dubbing. Notable television and film appearances include *Bastion* (1969), *American Tragedy* (1977), *The Guy Nicknamed Brumteles* (1982), and series such as *Lost and Found* (1975), *Louis Pasteur* (1979), and *Friends of the Green Valley* (1979).

In 1979, he was honored with the title of Merited Artist.
