Alphonse Keasley

Dr. Alphonse Keasley holds the position of Associate Vice Chancellor within the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement. His connection to the university campus spans over three decades, during which he has experienced the institution from multiple perspectives—first as a student, then as a faculty member and staff member, and currently as an administrator. He finds great fulfillment in his varied interactions with students, faculty, administration, and staff.

Beyond his responsibilities on campus, Dr. Keasley leads two prominent organizations: he serves as president of both the Boulder County Arts Alliance and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival Guild. His dedication to the Boulder community extends across numerous educational endeavors. He has contributed to the Healthy Community Initiative, IMPACT (the fundraising organization supporting the Boulder Valley School District), and the Family Learning Center. Working alongside the Family Learning Director, he provides support for the FLC's summer "Rites of Passage" program, which serves middle school students.
