Angie Nolan

Angie Nolan began her television career as a teenager, securing a production assistant position on the popular Canadian series The Beachcombers. Following her high school and college years, she remained active in the entertainment field, taking on both on-camera and behind-the-scenes roles. Over time, she expanded her creative scope, writing, directing, and performing in several of her own productions.

For 14 years, Angie contributed to the Whistler Film Festival’s Industry Programming team, ultimately serving as Director of Industry Programming. She eventually stepped away from that role to focus on her own film and television endeavors.

Her contributions have earned significant recognition. In 2018, she received the Women in Film & Television Vancouver Spotlight Awards (CA) for Leadership in Education, as well as the Whistler Excellence Awards (CA) Champion of Arts and Culture Award. These honors reflect her lasting impact on the industry and her dedication to fostering artistic growth in her community.
