Tom Koch

Tom Koch developed his storytelling instincts early, spending much of his childhood in solitary conversation, inventing narratives to entertain himself. Growing up in Montpellier, France, he later performed on London stages before relocating to New York, where he pursued formal drama studies.

Upon completing his education, Koch established Mes Films en Couleur, a production company with a mission to present authentic stories refracted through a distinctive chromatic lens—one shade at a time. His first short film, *Orange*, received an Honorable Mention at Hollywood New Directors. His most recent work, *Olive*, delves into themes of memory, love, and selfhood as seen through the disorienting perspective of Alzheimer's disease. The film debuted at Hollyshorts and has since garnered the Silver Screen award at YDA in Cannes, along with recognition as Best Short at Sidewalk.
